Trisha-And I am not your anything right?that’s why I will cheat on you and lie to you.This hurts much more than you doubting me…you believe Michelle and not me.

Rahul-That’s not what I meant

Trisha-That’s exactly what you meant

She ran to her apartment which was just a few blocks away tears streaming down her face .Her heart breaking with a deafening sound and numbing pain.

As soon as she reached their apartment she tore the present she had made for Rahul into a thousand pieces just like her heart  .

She packed her bags and left the apartment leaving a letter for Rahul.

She met Michelle in the staircase she stopped and gave her an angelic smile

Trisha-You Bitch

She slapped Michelle hard on her smug face and left.

He didn’t know the reason why he didn’t follow her to their apartment

He was too shocked to think about anything.He had roamed in the streets of Surfer’s Paradise, Gold Coast  for ages not knowing what to do.He knew what he did was wrong and he shouldn’t have mistrusted Trisha;The girl who had loved him since she was 11 .The girl who had never dated anyone else even when they were not together because she loved him even when he didn’t.He felt like kicking himself hard.Most people in the world spend their entire life waiting/searching for some one who loves them with all their heart without any selfish reason he had a person who loved him in the most selfless way possible and he hurt her ,he made her cry.He was a perfect arse.He reached the beach .He sat on the sand remembering all the moment  he and Trisha shared on this  beach.It broke his heart to think that they may not be the couple they used to be and it was all his fault.At sunrise he finally decided to go back to the apartment

She saw him waiting on of the table.He looked a tad bit irritated as she was (checks her watch)1 our later.

Trisha-I am so sorry baby!

All signs of boredom and irritation left his face and only a smile was left.A smile that made Trisha’s heart stop for a moment.A smile only for her.

He let out a slow whistle she winked and twirled showing off the dress and shoes.

Rahul-Wow!

Trisha’s smile broadened .He pulled her into his arms and she gave hima small peck.

Rahul(softly whispering into her ears)-Happy anniversary .I love You!

You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen .

Trisha’s blush deepened and she whispered back-Happy Anniversary to you too.I love you more than you can imagine.

Rahul-So where’s my gift?

Trisha-At home.It’s nothing compared to your gift though

Rahul-You brought it na?

Trisha-No

Rahul-You made it?

Trisha nodded

Rahul-Then it’s definitely better than my gift.I cannot wait to see it.What is it?

Trisha-You will see.Right now let’s eat as I am starving.

Trisha(her eyes closed as she savored her favorite dessert Mud cake)  -Oh My Gosh!this is heavenly

Rahul laughed and wiped the chocolate sauce from the corners of her lips.

Rahul-I know you are enjoying the cake but your cell is ringing since te past 5 minutes

Trisha-What?Oh sorry!

She picked up her phone

Trisha-Hey Sam..What’s up?

Rahul’s smile turned into a frown

Trisha-Sam don’t  irritate me I am out ..Bye!

(After Trisha switches off her mobile)

Rahul-Was That Sameer?

Trisha(smiling)-Yeah!

Rahul-Is he the reason you stay so late in office every night?

Trisha(raising her eyebrows)-Excuse Me?

Rahul-Is something going on between you two?

Trisha-How could you even think that?

Rahul-I have my reasons you spend so much of time with him and you are so close to him

Trisha-I cannot believe you Rahul.On our 5^th anniversary you are asking me if I am cheating on you?(Rahul was about to interrupt her but she stopped him)I have loved you since I was 11 years old.I loved you when you didn’t love me back.I held onto you for all these years because I knew we would be together someday I waited for you for 8 years and you are still questioning my ability to remain faithful?Do you even know  how hard it is to love someone who doesn’t love you back?Do you know how much it makes your heart aches?But I still never moved on from you because I believed in us and you are asking me if I am cheating on you?(tears running down her cheeks)and I have had enough of your inability to trust me Rahul.I am tired.Sam is a friend who is going through a tough time if I wont be there for him who will?When you spied on me and Sam I did not tell you anything when you questioned me about this the first time I kept quiet but Rahul this is the 100^th  time you are asking me and I am so fed up .You know what(choking back a sob as a lump formed in her throat)Love is important in a relationship but it is not the only thing …trust is also a very big part of a relationship and if our relationship doesn’t have that then I don’t want to be in it.(She gets up from her chair .Rahul tried to stop her by holding her hand..tears streaming down both their faces)Come back to me when you can trust me.(her heart was breaking but she knew what she was doing was correct)

She ran out of the restaurant her heart wrenching ..Rahul ran after her.

Rahul-Trisha I am so sorry for doubting you I Love You

Trisha stopped-Don’t say that!please don’t say that

Rahul-Michelle told me that she saw you and Sam together in each

Trisha-That’s enough Rahul..and seriously Michelle?you believe her and not me?

Trisha broke into sobs

Rahul-Trish..why are you crying?I am so sorry I didn’t know proposing you would make you cry..am I so bad?

Trisha-No idiot I am crying because I am happy!i am so overwhelmed by happiness that i did not know how to control it.I have been wanting you since so long..for 8 years I have loved you and now I have got you..!I have got what I wanted the most..your love!

She hugged him !

Rahul-Let’s dance ..

Trisha-what?

Rahul-Don’t you rememeber this restaurant?We came here once and laughed at all couples who were dancing to ridiculously slow songs?

Trisha looked around –Oh yeah!

Rahul-So what say ?Do you want to dance to a ridiculously slow song?

Trisha-Yes!

He held her hand and pulled her close to him.His hands on her waist and her hands placed delicately on his shoulder and her head on his chest

Trisha gave a small sigh.How is one supposed to react when all their dreams come true?How is one supposed to react when they get everything they have ever wanted?How is one supposed to react when the person they have loved for 8 years finally proposes to them?

All these 8 years her friends  had asked her why did she love rahul even when he didn’t..sometimes even she had asked herself that question..Somewhere deep in her heart she knew Rahul and her were meant to be together.She had waited all these 8 years for this moment..this feeling.This moment was worth all the pain she had ever felt ..the sadness which engulfed her frequently as the person she loves didn’t love her.

What is meant to happen happens and she was always sure one day or the other they would happen and she was glad she had waited for him and had never given her heart to anyone else .She had always believed that her love was enough for both of them and that her l0ve was strong enough to overcome the moments where she felt she should move on.If you want something from all your heart .if you really wish for something..if you really believe in something then there is no reason as to why it  can’t happen!

She always told everyone to believe in their dreams in their love in themselves.Without Hope and belief no person can be truly happy.Those are the things which makes a person strong enough to overcome all their troubles.If there is no hope in a person there is no will to live inside a person and that’s the saddest thing ever.People who dream but don’t believe in it people who love but don’t believe in it people who are talented but don’t believe it.What could be worse?The most beautiful thing about hope was that it appears when you have lost all the hope in the world.Her favorite story had been The Pandora’s Box .It had a beautiful message about hope.The “hope fairy “ had come with all the troubles in the world to help ease it  and she(hope)is always there for us.Some times we may not think so and loose our will to live but when you want to live again that is when you see hope again!

Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile. The next wish come true.
But if you believe that it is right around the corner. And you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it. To the certainty of it.

As she entered the restaurant where Rahul had proposed her 5 years ago she could not help but remember that night!

She did not know why she was here….rahul had called her and had told her to come here….she was so angry with Rahul he called her a jealous stalker.Ok!she did stalk Rahul and Naina for a while as she was a teeny weeny bit jealous and afraid to loose Rahul to Naina.Maybe he had called her to apologize .

As soon as she entered the restaurant she heard Rahul’s voice..she searched for him in vain.

Suddenly everything went dark ..and there were two spot lights one on her and one on rahul who seemed to have magically appeared.Rahul took a step and sang :

“Tu Jaan Hai Armaan Hai Mere Pyaar ki Pehchan Hai

Par Thodi Thodi Tu nadaan Hai”

Trisha looked at him questioningly he smiled and took a step closer to her

“Tu Jo Kahegi Mein Vaisa Karoonga

Teri har zidd ko Pura Karoonga”

Trisha smiled on the inside but put a fake frown on her face as she was still annoyed at him for calling her a jealous stalker and tears formed in her eyes and she took a step closer to him

Rahul held is ears and then he folded his hands .Trisha now could not help but smile and they both took a step closer to each other

“Roothna Maanana Hai Pyaar Ki Ada

Kaise Jeeyonga mein tumse hoke juda ?”

They took one more step and they finally reached their destination-each other’s arms!

Trisha grumbled as she entered her apartment.Furious that she ad to work on her anniversary.She had wanted to spend the special day with Rahul.She searched for Rahul in his room but he was not there

Trisha(muttering)-Great now even Rahul is not there!

She slammed open her bedroom door.As she dumped her bags on her bed her eye fell on a note.

Trishy,

Firstly calm down.It’ ok that you had to work on our anniversary ..it’s not like it’s our last one!(Trisha blushed reading this)anyways this day is too precious..let us not waste this day by being sad or angry .I only want you to smile today and think about me :P..us and how special you are to me!This day is still not over!

Trisha lip-synced the song as she entered the snazzy disco trying to calm herself.

She was extremely confused.How is one supposed to behave in the pre-wedding party of the person she loves?She wondered .Taking a deep breath and putting on a fake smile on her face she opened the doors.She hated herself for being so bitter on his special day.All she wanted was for him to be happy.Isnt that what love about?Its not selfish..it's more about doing everything you can to see a smile on the face of the person of you love than being with them.But then for her the question-what is love?was always rhetorical it had no real definition everyone had different versions about what love is.She hit herself on her head...this was not the correct time to think about the definition of love..Focus Trish Focus..she mumbled to herself this was not the time to think about the definition of love..There was a time when he loved her but now he was marrying Anjali.She knew she had to move on .Falling in love is easy its the falling out part which is always difficult and he was Rahul the person she had loved since she was 11 years old.

She spotted Rahul and Anjali on the dance floor.Maybe it was only her but Rahul seemed unhappy and uncomfortable.Before she had time to think about it more rahul’s sister Kanika hugged her tightly

Trish-I cant believe I did..but I wanted to be there with him on his special day ..i know it will mean a lot to him

Kanika-He doesn’t deserve it

Trisha-Shut up!(she slapped Kanika lightly)

At that moment Rahul turned and he saw Trisha.

She could have sworn that his eyes lit up when he saw her but maybe it was just a trick of light!
